Waste not want not…here’s a pic I took yesterday of the army personal unloading undeliverable My Food Bag boxes ( due to washed out roads) these will now be donated/delivered to our rural folk who are affected by flooding! Love this community!!💕💕 https://t.co/3SP39JxfeC

They know the need for support is great, and that our farmers have been hit incredibly hard in this event. I am committed to helping our rural community get back on their feet.

It was great to have the PM and Ministers in town today, it was important for them to see the extensive damage first hand, including at @bushypark8’s farm and to lend their support to the Ashburton EOC - where people are working so hard to keep our community safe.

Happy Wednesday! We are in for another busy day here in the capital - with the House sitting in urgency. I started the day nice and early with an Education and Workforce Committee Zoom meeting. Have a great day everyone! https://t.co/Kl3OsldAWO

It was great to catch up with some Rangitata locals at a get together with the Federated Farmers Meat & Wool and Dairy Councils in Wellington this evening! It was a good chance to meet with Council members from all over the country. Now back to the office for more meetings! https://t.co/gePW5bcYAC

It was an absolute privilege to attend the Ashburton Cadet Unit’s end of year parade, and to present 2LT Shannon Bradley with her Commissioning Parchment and Major Andrew Kenny with his clasp for his NZCF medal. A huge congratulations to you both 🎉 https://t.co/RGMs0L8slI
